In early 2016 one of the most exciting briefs in the 12 year history of Studio Waldemeyer arrived in the form of a phone call: Can we redesign the stage appearance of Jay Kay, front man of Jamiroquai.

Studio Waldemeyer developed the concealed lighting technology for Andrea Mastrovito’s Gv 1,29, a monumental depiction of the Agnus Dei suspended within the cross crowning the Sagrada Família’s Tower of Jesus Christ.

A delicate illuminated basket type sculpture extends down from the head to envelope the model’s entire body.

Daphne Guinness wore the dress during her appearance at the Natural History Museum celebrating the unveiling of the world’s largest cut Topaz.

The dress, initially pure white, undergoes a mesmerizing transformation to vibrant red, simulating the natural blossoming of hundreds of flowers.
