Marcel Wanders Flower Light

For the current ‘Daydream’ exhibit at The Philadelphia Museum of Art we collaborated with noted designer Marcel Wanders to create a light sculpture consisting of 52 Flos 'Wall Flower' lamps each illuminated by a single full colour LED. The lamps imperceptively change colour to create a constantly shifting composition. The change is deliberately paced to give the installation the feel of a timepiece. The quality of light emitted by the flowers is both mesmeric and immersing, casting a sensory spell upon the viewer - this effect became most apparent with all the elements were assembled.
